Remote Identification (Remote ID)

Remote ID is a system that acts like a digital license plate for drones. It broadcasts key information, such as the drone's serial number, operator info, pilot location (or takeoff point), and current position, via wireless signals. Authorities and the public can receive this data using a smartphone app to identify drones in flight or on the ground, helping spot unathorized or unsafe operations and improve airspace safety and community acceptance.
