Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)
An aircraft remotely piloted or flying autonomously. Commonly referred to as a “drone” in public speech. The terminology has been recently replaced by ICAO with “Unmanned Aircraft” within the broader definition of “Unmanned Aircraft Systems” (UAS).
